Synopsis of Network
The death of his wife dealt a heavy blow to Howard (Peter Finch), the ace anchor of the television station, leaving him in pain and sadness unable to extricate himself. The TV station decides to fire Howard, who is no longer interested in working, and Howard's old friend Max (William Holden) becomes the perfect person to deliver the bad news. When he learned that he was about to be fired, Howard, who had been working for the TV station for many years, was very angry. On the next day's show, he even announced to the audience that he was about to live broadcast his suicide.
