Synopsis of The Lost Weekend

Don (Ray Milland) doesn't know whether he can call himself a frustrated writer, because how can a writer whose works have never been accepted by the public be a writer? In order to relieve his anger, Tang chose to seek comfort from alcohol, but little did he know that alcohol would only make his situation worse. The appearance of Helen (Jane Wyman) pulled Tang out of the quagmire of alcoholism. Her gentleness and understanding warmed Tang's lonely life and made him find his soul. He decided to get back on his feet. . The good times did not last long. Helen's father was very dissatisfied with the relationship between Tang and his daughter. In his eyes, Tang was just a wanderer who had accomplished nothing. Tang, whose feelings were denied, once again fell into a crisis of alcoholism and even contemplated suicide. Facing her frustrated lover, can Helen once again rescue Don from the brink of death?
