Synopsis of Home

After four billion years of long evolution, the earth has become a blue planet with a wide variety of species, rich resources, and strange beauty. However, since the emergence of human beings, it has only taken us 200,000 years to exhaust the earth's precious resources. Rare species are extinct, primitive resources are scarce, and pollution is becoming increasingly serious. Where will humanity and the earth go in the future? Director Yann Arthur spent 15 years in preparation and visited more than 50 countries to make this film. The film has 488 hours of footage, a 21-month shooting period, and a total of 88,000 employees, ranging from the Great Barrier Reef on the bottom of Australia to Mount Kilimanjaro on the Kenyan plateau in Africa; from the Amazon rainforest to the Gobi Desert; from From the rolling cotton fields of Texas in the United States to the industrial towns of Shanghai and Shenzhen in China. The film uses God's bird's-eye view to show the world the beauty of the earth and its increasingly critical situation. Tomorrow is not far away, but what kind of future should we choose?
