Synopsis of Desperate Housewives Season 1

A gunshot in the early morning broke the long-standing tranquility of the Wisteria community. Mary Alice Young (played by Brenda Strong) committed suicide at home. The story begins with her narration. After her death, Mary began to look around and care about the lives of her neighbors: Susan (Teri Hatcher) is a children's literature writer who has no ability to resist men.
