Synopsis of Burke and Hare

The movie is adapted from real events. The story takes place in England in the turbulent and chaotic 19th century. Booker (played by Simon Pegg) and Hale (played by Andy Serkis) are a pair of tomb robbers who illegally steal valuable burial objects from tombs. Then convert it into a considerable amount of money and put it in your pocket. After all, the grave goods were limited, and making money by robbing tombs would not make them rich. So, the evil two began to think about corpses. They sold the corpses to a doctor named Robert (Tom Wilkinson) and made huge profits from it, but as time passed, the few dead people gradually could not satisfy Haier and Booker. The greater the appetite, just like that, the two people who stole the corpse became the two people who made the corpse. In just one year, 17 people died under the butcher's knife of Haier and Booker, but while committing evil, these two men were also moving towards their own graves.
