Synopsis of Hammer House Of Horror
In the early 1980s, Hammer Films produced a TV series for British television - "Step by Step". The show aired for 13 episodes. Unlike horror movies, the protagonists in the drama are often unable to escape the clutches of horror - from sadistic shopkeepers to witches and even Satanic sects. The series' hallmarks are its heavy dose of dark satire, its macabre theme music, and its blend of horror plots and everyday life.
