Synopsis of Ready Player One

The story takes place in 2045, when virtual reality technology has penetrated into every corner of human life. James Halliday (Mark Rylance) built a virtual reality game world called "Oasis" by himself. Before his death, he announced that he had set an Easter egg in the game. Whoever finds the Easter egg can become Heir to the Oasis. To find this Easter egg, you must first obtain three keys, and the clues to finding the keys are hidden in James' past. Wade (played by Tye Sheridan), Aiqi (played by Lena Waithe), Dadong (played by On Morisaki) and Xiu (played by Zhao Jiazheng) are friends in the game, and Artemis (played by Artemis) whom he met later (Olivia Cooke), the five people embarked on a journey to find Easter eggs. What they are fighting against is a big capitalist named Nolan Sorrento (Ben Mendelsohn).
