Synopsis of Oscar and Lucinda

The story takes place in England in the 19th century. Young Oscar (Ralph Fiennes) is a missionary. With lofty ideals, he embarks on a journey to the Australian outback, where he plans to start his own business. Let more people receive the Lord’s gift. Lucindia (Cate Blanchett) grew up in a wealthy family. Her life of carefree food and clothing allowed her to retain her beautiful dreams and pure heart. After inheriting her father's glass factory, she determined to Carry forward the attitude of liberating women to be independent and self-reliant. On a ship drifting on the sea, two people who were so similar but very different met. The two strong and competitive people made a bet. The bet was that Oscar must build a glass church and transport it to the inland mountains. The bet was Lucinda's entire property. And it was this bold and crazy bet that completely changed the fate of the two people.
