Synopsis of King of Devil's Island
The movie is adapted from real events. The story takes place on a small island in Norway called Bastri, where many young prisoners are imprisoned, the youngest of whom is only 11 years old, and the oldest is only 18 years old. Every day, in this closed and oppressive environment, children are forced to do overloaded work, because only in this way can they get enough food to satisfy their hunger. Here, beating and scolding prisoners is commonplace, and it is just because of a small mistake, sometimes there is no reason. In such a terrible environment, the prisoners were tamed and no one thought of resisting. Seventeen-year-old Erling (Benjamin Helstad) has just arrived at this Devil's Island, where he is serving his sentence. The cruel life on the island made Erling feel desperate. When the prisoner's oppression exceeded the critical point and led to tragedy, it was Erling who led his companions to launch a violent resistance. Just as Erling seized control of the island, the 150-man army sent by the Norwegian government to the island was rapidly approaching.
