Synopsis of Awake

How will you wake up from reality? "Lone Star" producer Kyle Killen's latest series will bring the audience an Inception-style puzzle. Detective Michael Britten, played by Jason Isaacs, finds himself trapped in two realities after a car accident: in one world, his wife died and his son survived, and in another world, the opposite is true. In order to distinguish, Michael uses rubber wristbands of different colors to remind himself of his situation: his wife lives in the red reality, and his son lives in the green reality. In order to ensure the safety of his loved ones, while dealing with cases in the two worlds, he also began to investigate clues in the contradictory facts... This drama is not only one of the 20 most anticipated British and American dramas of 2012 selected by the British media, but its pilot script was also awarded the "Most Exciting New Drama" award at the 2011 Film Critics Association Television Awards.
