Capote

Synopsis of Capote

The film recreates the process of writing the novel "InColdBlood" by the controversial gay writer Capote, and goes deep into Capote's sensitive and cruel inner world. The protagonist of the novel is based on Perry (played by Clifton Collins Jr.), a brutal killer in the United States in 1959. He killed a family of four for a mere $100. The sensitive Capote (played by Philip Seymour Hoffman) smelled the writing value of this news. With the help of a magazine, he went to the crime scene to investigate everything about the killer. Potter's heart was brewing, and the desire for success was also tumbling inside him. However, when he had a long interview with Perry, he found that the murderer in front of him was strikingly similar to himself. Perry regarded Capote as a confidant and pinned his hopes on him again and again. However, in Capote's heart, Perry could only give way to his works and his fame and fortune. Perry became a pawn in the hands of someone he deeply believed in, and Capote, after becoming famous for his work, could not let go of his cruelty for the rest of his life...
