Synopsis of A Happy Event
Like most female college students, Barbara (Louise Bourgoin) has a young and beautiful appearance and unlimited expectations for the future. Her relationship with her boyfriend Nicholas (Pio Marmaï) makes her believe that What she was experiencing was the best time of her life. The arrival of a child shattered all the good things. She couldn't imagine that she would become a mother when she was still a child mentally. In hesitation and expectation, Barbara chose to keep the child. Unexpectedly, the birth of the child became another nightmare for Barbara. Facing this defenseless little life in front of her and the arduous responsibility of being a mother, Barbara retreated. What she couldn't figure out was that becoming a mother was obviously a happy thing. Why would it happen? So much sadness and fear hidden inside?
