Synopsis of Champs
There are three giants in the American boxing world: Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins, and Mike Tyson. Their boxing journey is passionate and full of hardships, but their lives behind the ring challenge the so-called American dream. Boxing is a sport for the poor, who are forced to become "contemporary gladiators" when life has nowhere to go. Three boxing giants tell their own boxing stories. However, the road to boxing is not only about blood and glory, but also about self-discovery and redemption. It also reflects social problems such as poverty, crime, injustice, and drug abuse.
