Synopsis of Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade

In the more than ten years after World War II, Japan gradually emerged from the shadow of defeat and entered an era of rapid economic growth. However, tough economic policies have also led to rising unemployment, the rise of various anti-government armed forces, and the disappearance of stable social order. In order to deal with this problem, the government established a security police agency with a high degree of autonomy in the capital area, using sophisticated equipment and decisive force to combat anti-government organizations led by "parties". As the economy continues to develop, the police and "parties" in the metropolitan area who advocate violence are gradually disgusted and isolated by the people. In a fierce and bloody battle, Achuan, a girl belonging to the "party", detonated a bomb and committed suicide. Witnessing this scene, Fu Yigui, a member of the Metropolitan Police, was mentally shocked like never before. From this moment on, his life quietly changed... The film won the 2000 Daily Movie Award for Best Animated Film, the 1999 Portuguese International Fantasy Film Festival Best Animated Film Award and the Jury Award.
