Synopsis of Southland Tales

On July 4, 2005, the Independence Day of the United States, the people of Abilene, Texas, who were immersed in a joyful atmosphere, suddenly faced a huge disaster. A mushroom cloud with the breath of death rose in the city center, and Abilian disappeared from the earth. This incident triggered World War III against Iran, Syria, North Korea, and Afghanistan. The war caused a series of problems in the United States, including energy shortages, human rights violations, racism, extremism, political turmoil... The entire United States was in chaos. On the occasion of the 2008 election, action star Boxer Santaros (played by Dwayne Johnson The Rock), who is inextricably linked to the Republican Party, disappeared. When he reappeared, he had lost his memory. Soon, he met the porn star Krista Nau (played by Sarah Michelle Gellar), and a story concerning the fate of all mankind unfolded...
