Synopsis of The Speed of Thought
Joshua has a special ability, he can read other people's thoughts. Joshua Lazarus is a foster child who possesses telepathic abilities. He uses his superpowers to help the government. The government told him that his telepathic abilities were a side effect of Wiedemann's disease, from which he would eventually become insane and die. One day, however, Lazarus meets a woman with similar abilities who shows no signs of the disease, and Lazarus musters up the courage to expose the government's lies.
