# Synopsis of The Lavender Hill Mob

This film is not Audrey Hepburn's first film, but her fourth film in which she plays a supporting role. Hepburn was originally going to play one of the main female roles, but because the stage play "Golden Dust" was running out of time, she had to play a small part. She played a young girl flirting with Alec Guinness in the film, and her appearance lasted no more than 30 seconds! In the film, the male protagonist Alec Guinness plays a gentle and humble gold bar transporter, who loads gold bars in armored vehicles and transports them. He has been repeating this job for 20 years. However, one day, he decided to rob a million pounds worth of gold, and his accomplices included the people he recruited and his old friend (Stanley Holloway) - a sculptor and manufacturer of paper presses. They decided that once the gold bar was stolen, they would hide it in a small model of the Eiffel Tower and then transport it to France. But when passing through the customs, as the customs officers were closely guarding the lost gold, these amateur thieves couldn't help but panic. As a result, six small models of the Eiffel Tower hidden with gold, Shirley, confusedly bought them to a group of British women. student……
