Ghosts of Mississippi

Synopsis of Ghosts of Mississippi

In 1963, Mississippi civil rights leader McGraw-Ewes was murdered in the driveway of his home. The murderer was white racist Brian Burkworth, but he was acquitted and escaped justice for 30 years. Justice is coming. After 30 years, there is a glimmer of hope. Is it too late? After McGonagall was murdered, all strong evidence pointed to Brian as the murderer, but an all-white jury acquitted him for the second time. Thirty years later, a young district attorney, Bobby, decided to re-open this case that had no chance of winning. With the help of Mag's widow Mary Ives, he collected enough new evidence to investigate the murderer. A third prosecution was conducted, and finally justice was served.
