Synopsis of The Doctor
Jack (William Hurt) is a very experienced surgeon who is highly respected in the industry. He has saved countless patients from life and death through his dexterous hands and superb medical skills. Jack not only has a stable job, but also a happy family. Everyone thinks that his life is exemplary, and he himself is very satisfied with the current situation, until one day, Jack discovers that he has throat cancer. As a doctor, he should remain calm and collected when he is sick. In order to cure his illness, Jack underwent a series of painful treatments, but the results were not satisfactory. In the process, Jack began to reflect on his career and discovered that his seemingly perfect resume actually contained a lot of regrets.
