Synopsis of Big Fan

Paul (Patton Oswalt), a 35-year-old middle-aged man, is a loyal fan of the New York Giants football team. He watches and listens to Giants games on TV, radio, and even in his car, and is addicted to them. In fact, in daily life, Paul, who has no ambition, is an unfortunate man. He lives with his mother Theresa. Paul is a garage manager in Staten Island, New York. His job is in jeopardy due to the economic crisis. Not only does he have a meager income, but he also has no status in the family and is ridiculed by relatives and friends. Paul spent almost all his spare time calling local sports stations, hoping to express his loyalty to the team over the airwaves. What is strange is that Paul always meets Philadelphia Eagles fan Feier (Michael Rapaport) on the radio, and the two never talk to each other. For many years, Paul was so obsessed with football that he accomplished nothing and was not understood by his family. However, an accident changed his life...
