Synopsis of Glory and Dream

In the old China at the beginning of the 20th century, warlords ruled the country and the people were in dire straits. Mao Zedong, a young man from Hunan, actively participated in the revolutionary movement. Under the guidance of Li Dazhao and Chen Duxiu, he established his Marxist belief and participated in the founding of the Communist Party of China. His fellow worker Zhao Yuchi followed him all the way and became close friends with Chen Duxiu's disciple Li Chunfeng. Chiang Kai-shek rebelled against the revolution, and Li Chunfeng joined the reactionary camp. Mao Zedong launched the Autumn Harvest Uprising and marched into Jinggangshan to establish a base. Zhao Yuchi grew into a revolutionary warrior. Chiang Kai-shek continuously encircled and suppressed the Soviet area, and Mao Zedong was ostracized within the party, which led to the failure of the fifth counter-encirclement and suppression campaign, and the Red Army was forced to march on a long march. The Zunyi Conference on the Long March confirmed Mao Zedong's leadership and saved the party and the Red Army. The Japanese invaded China, and the CCP united all strata of the country to win the war of resistance. Chiang Kai-shek launched a civil war to suppress the Communists, and Mao Zedong commanded the People's Liberation Army in three major campaigns to drive Chiang Kai-shek to Taiwan. The U.S. imperialism came back and brought the war to the Yalu River. Mao Zedong decided that the Chinese People's Volunteers would send troops to North Korea. They fought bloody battles for three years to defeat the U.S. imperialism and achieved a great victory in resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea. New China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China truly stands in the East.
