Synopsis of Strike Back Season 2

John Porter is back, and this time he's in an unprecedented predicament. Branch No. 20 is a new group that is well-trained and battle-hardened. It is composed of Michael Stonebridge, a British sergeant who has won the Silver Bauhinia Star, and Damian Scott, a former member of the US Delta Force commando. They are entrusted by the hard-hitting Colonel Eleanor Grant to hunt down a dangerous, elusive terrorist and defuse a conspiracy that could spark war. In order to track the notorious Latif, John Porter has been sent undercover for two months. Colonel Eleanor Grant heard from him again in a disgusting prisoner broadcast. Stonebridge and his teammates staged a surprise attack, but Latif was one step ahead of them and their rescue plan failed. Latif will execute Porter, and all members of Division 20 can only watch the tragedy happen. But, with the help of Porter's American comrade Damien Scott - the only other official to have seen Latif - the team discovers Porter wove a message left before his death.
