Synopsis of The Fabelmans

The story is loosely based on Spielberg's life experience, focusing on the growth period of the male protagonist, who is not named Steven, but lives in Phoenix, Arizona, like him, and his relationship with his parents. Spielberg lived in Phoenix in the late 1950s and early 1960s, where he faced anti-Semitism while shooting home movies and adventure films with his father's 8mm camera. Spielberg's family moved to California during high school. Later, his parents divorced and he lived with his father. The tense relationship with his father also became the basis for his creation of "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial", "Captain Hook", "Jurassic Park" and "Lincoln". Inspiration for movies like Cat and Mouse.
