Synopsis of Sphere

At a depth of 1,000 feet in the South Pacific, the U.S. government discovered a mysterious 300-year-old spacecraft. The authorities immediately formed a team consisting of psychologist Norman Goodman (Dustin Hoffman), biochemist Beth Halperin (Sharon Stone) and mathematician Ha A scientific team composed of three top scientists, Ray Adams (Samuel L. Jackson), went to the local area to investigate. They use high-tech experimental boats to conduct deep-sea exploration. However, a huge and weird sphere inside the hull has powerful magic power to penetrate everyone's inner world. It seems to be able to control everyone's thoughts and behaviors. To make matters worse, an unknown underwater creature also attacked the experimental boat. The science fiction suspense film "The Deep" directed by the famous American director and screenwriter Barry Levinson is adapted from the novel of the same name published by Michael Crichton in 1987. This film is full of superstars, with Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, Samuel L. Jackson and other big-name stars co-starring in this thriller and science fiction film.
