Synopsis of The Pig, the Snake, and the Pigeon

The wanted criminal Chen Guilin (Ethan Juan) is about to die, but finds that he is only ranked third on the wanted list. He is determined to find out the whereabouts of the first two wanted criminals and eliminate them one by one. Chen Guilin thought that he had become a contemporary Zhou Chu to eliminate the three evils, but he did not expect that greed, anger, and ignorance that could never be understood were the crimes and punishments that he would eventually face in life. The allusion "Zhou Chu eliminates three evils" cited in the film can be found in "Book of Jin: Biography of Zhou Chu" and "Shishuo Xinyu". According to records, the young man Zhou Chu was tall and powerful, but he ran rampant in the countryside and was disliked by his neighbors. Later Zhou Chu killed the evil tiger and dragon by himself, and he himself turned back as a prodigal and corrected his evil ways, thus eliminating all three evils.
