Synopsis of Carlito's Way

Calido (Al Pacino) was sentenced to 30 years in prison for drug trafficking. In his fifth year in prison, lawyer David (Sean Penn) rescued him from prison. Calido's dream after being released from prison is to earn enough US$75,000 to leave here and pay off the debt he owes David. Calido, determined to change his mind, could not escape the trick of fate. When he reluctantly agreed to his cousin's participation in a drug deal as a bystander, he became involved in a gangster conspiracy.
