Synopsis of Man Hunt

On the eve of the Second World War, British military officer Sandy (Walter Pidgeon) lurked Hitler's mountain manor and was arrested unsuccessfully. Sandy was pushed off a cliff by the German troops after refusing to admit that he was under the direction of the British government. Sandick survived the disaster and returned to the UK by ship. At the same time, the Germans sent officers and informants pretending to be Sandick to pursue him throughout the city. The German government also put pressure on the UK. During his dangerous escape, Sandick met the cheerful and straightforward girl Jerry (Joan Bennett), who was attracted to him and did her best to help him. Sandyk and Jerry spent a brief period of innocence, but he was unable to give each other more happiness in a crisis-ridden situation. The Germans quickly found Sandik's hiding place and kidnapped Jerry. This made the situation facing Sandik extremely bad.
