Synopsis of The Ghost Writer

He (Ewan Gordon McGregor) is a shadow writer. Just like his codename "Ghost", he hides deep behind the scenes and writes memoirs for celebrities from all walks of life. One day, the ghost received a new task, that is, to help polish the memoirs of former British Prime Minister Adam Long (Pierce Brosnan). Previously, the book was handled by Mike McCullagh, Adam Long's assistant during his tenure, but McCullagh mysteriously committed suicide. In view of the generous reward, the ghost accepted the job. In the process of writing the book, Adam was accused of war crimes and a political storm loomed. The ghost also began to intentionally explore Adam's unknown past and the cause of McCalla's death, but he did not know that this would lead him into a dangerous path... The film was adapted from the novel "The Gunslinger" by Robert Harris and won the Silver Bear Award for Best Director at the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival.
