Synopsis of Shadow

In times of war, heroes rise together. The separatist state of Pei is content with the status quo, and the first leader Peiliang (played by Zheng Kai) enjoys peace. The strategic location of Jingzhou was borrowed by its powerful neighbor Yan State in the early years, but it is now occupied without being returned. Zi Yu (played by Deng Chao), the governor of Pei State, went to attack, but was hit by the knife of the opposing general Yang Cang (played by Hu Jun), and was seriously injured. The unwilling Ziyu secretly sent his substitute Jingzhou (played by Deng Chao) to pretend to be himself, the prime minister of military affairs, while his wife Xiao Ai (played by Sun Li) was sent to assist him. The real and fake Zi Yu competed in battle tactics, seeking the unique skill to crack Yang Cang's sword skills. On the other hand, Peiliang was angry that Zi Yu secretly made a fight with Yang Cang, and he did not hesitate to marry his sister Qingping (played by Guan Xiaotong) to Yang Cang's son to make peace as a concubine. It rains heavily and does not open for days. In the sky above Jingzhou, killing and conspiracy are entangled and torn apart... This film is adapted from Zhu Sujin's script "Three Kingdoms·Jingzhou".
