Synopsis of WarGames

David Letterman (Matthew Broderick) is a young genius who spends all his spare time playing computer games. One day, through searching, he found a network computer. After a simple crack, he started playing a game called "Global Thermonuclear War", a game that simulates a world war. But David didn’t know that what was hidden behind the “global thermonuclear war” was actually the U.S. military’s War Operations Plan Response (WOPR) system. This secret system controls the weapons of the U.S. military, and the "Global Thermonuclear War" game launched by David actually caused the system to automatically prepare to launch a nuclear bomb! The Third World War is about to break out, and the armies of various countries are on standby, but David has to take action. He wants to use his hacking skills to prevent computers from launching nuclear bombs and stop all this.
