Synopsis of Burden of Dreams
This documentary truly reproduces the process of the German film master Werner Herzog spending nearly five years in the tropical jungle of the Peruvian Amazon to shoot the world-shaking business card "Fitzcarraldo". This film records the process of a filmmaker searching for his dream, but it is by no means a behind-the-scenes documentary that is almost mandatory when releasing a movie on DVD today.
