Synopsis of House of Sand and Fog

The reality that Casey (Jennifer Connelly) was abandoned by her husband was hit hard. Every day, only under the anesthesia of alcohol could she resist the pain in her heart. Cathy became increasingly depressed and no longer cared about herself or anything happening around her. Until one day, she received a notice from the local sheriff that the house she lived in was about to be auctioned for tax arrears. Xi Jing had no idea about this. Emil (Ben Kingsley) and his family became the new owners of Casey's house. When they were preparing to move in with a beautiful vision for the future, what appeared in front of them was an angry and neurotic woman. . One person wants to protect his family, and the other person wants to protect his own memories. When these two people stand on opposite sides, good and evil can no longer be clearly distinguished. All they know is that tragedy is around the corner.
