Synopsis of My Own Private Idaho

Mike (Rifan Phoenix) and Scott (Keanu Reeves) are both male prostitutes living on the streets. However, due to their hugely different family backgrounds, they are not as "tacitly aware" as they appear to be. ". Mike, who often faints, has always been filled with fragmented fragments of his childhood, and the poetic countryside of Idaho often enters his dreams. He wants to find his long-lost mother, and regards Scott as his confidant and lover. Scott is the son of the mayor of Portland. He "willed himself to fall" just to experience the pleasure of dissolute youth. He clearly knows that although he is accompanying Mike all the way from Portland to Seattle, and from Idaho to Italy, however, cannot be his final warm destination. What he can return to is power, glory and girls.
