Synopsis of Velvet Goldmine

The most gorgeous 1970s in rock history, sexy, coquettish, avant-garde, radical and other bold elements were integrated into a unique rock genre. The spokesperson of this rock revolution, Brad Slade (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), overwhelmed everyone at that time. However, in 1984, he suffered an "assassination" during a performance, and the superstar fell since then. London Herald reporter Arthur (Christian Bale) launches an investigation into his idol. While looking back on the past years, a love affair between Brad and American rock singer Kurt Wilder (Ewan McGregor) was unearthed.
