Synopsis of Dial M for Murder

Tony (Ray Milland) and Margot (Grace Kelly) are a couple who seem to be inseparable. Tony often forgets his beloved wife for the sake of his career and hobbies, and their relationship becomes a red flag. Margot, who lives a lonely life, and writer Mark inevitably spark love. They date and correspond, but are unexpectedly discovered by Tony. Tony kept quiet and wrote an anonymous letter to his wife as a warning. However, now Mark unexpectedly visits his home. In order to avoid shame and to get his wife Margot's huge property, Tony secretly hatches a vicious plan. Tony offered Les, his old classmate, a thousand pounds to participate in a rigorous murder plan he laid out. This plan has a well-designed alibi for the murderer. Phones, keys, and curtains have all become props for this conspiracy. However, the plan failed to keep up with the changes after all. Not only did Les not get the reward, he also had to pay for his own life. But Tony also became wise...
