Synopsis of Rear Window

Photographer Jeffries (played by James Stewart) broke his left leg while standing in the middle of the racing track to take pictures, and had to rest at home for seven weeks. Except for the insurance company's nurse Stella (Thelma Ritter) and his girlfriend Lisa Carol Fremont (Grace Kelly) who come to take care of them every day, the bored Jeffries can only sit in the window Spend some time watching your neighbors go about their daily lives. On the second floor of the apartment opposite live costume jewelry salesman Lars Torvald (played by Raymond Burr) and his wife Anna (played by Eileen Winston), and there are constant quarrels between the couple. One rainy night, Jeffries saw Lars going out several times carrying boxes. The next day, Jeffries saw Lars wrapping a saw and a knife in newspaper. Jeffries became suspicious. He suspected that Lars had killed Anna and dismembered her body. However, Jeffries did not witness the crime or see the body. So what is the truth? Is Jeffries's speculation just a figment of his imagination? How would Jeffries find evidence to confirm his hypothesis?
