Synopsis of Summer 1993

The story takes place in the summer of 1993. The mother of the girl Frieda (played by Laia Artigas) unfortunately passed away due to illness, leaving the poor little girl with five people to take care of her. Frida's uncle Esteve (David Verdaguer) and aunt Marga (Bruna Cusí) took in the homeless Frida, but this also meant that Therefore, Frida must leave the big city where she was born and raised and get used to rural life. Frida quickly integrated into the colorful and interesting country life. The kind-hearted Esteve and the gentle Marga gradually made Frida feel the warmth of family again. But even so, Frida still missed her mother very much. She pinned all her thoughts on the statue, hoping that the statue could restore the connection between her and her mother.
