Synopsis of Red Heat

In the 1980s, drug lords in the Soviet Union imported large quantities of drugs from the United States. Captain Dego (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) was ordered to capture a Georgia drug cartel. However, during the roundup, Dego's comrades were killed and the drug leader escaped abroad. . Soon, in Chicago, the Soviet Union drug dealer Werther was arrested. The United States and the Soviet Union reached an agreement. Dego went to the United States from Moscow to escort Werther back to the country. The United States sent police detective Lysek (played by James Belushi) to serve as his assistant and translator. . Unexpectedly, Werther successfully escaped again with the cooperation of his accomplices. Dego had to reveal Werther's true identity to the United States and worked with Lysek to track Werther. The differences between the Soviet Union and the United States were constantly reflected in Dego and Lysek. However, the two heroes quickly bridged the differences and worked together sincerely to track down the drug lord...
