Synopsis of Judy

At the age of 14, Judy Garland was recognized by recording studio manager Louis B. Mayer, who believed that she had a talent that other girls did not have. At that time, Judy's singing ability surpassed that of Shirley Temple, a child star. The camera then cuts to 40-year-old Judy. She was married to Sidney Luft at the time, and they had a couple of women. She often took her children out to perform. Then one day, Judy took the children to stay in a hotel, but they were refused because they had not paid the bill before. So Judy returned home to find Luft, who had divorced her at the time. Judy met nightclub owner Mickey Deans at a party, and the two fell in love. The camera goes back to when she was a child, when Judy was dating Mickey Rooney, and the studio manager burst in and gave Judy amphetamines to control her appetite.
