Synopsis of Z Nation Season 1
In the near future, a mysterious virus called ZN1 spreads around the world, turning thousands of people into bloodthirsty zombies, and those bitten by them are quickly infected and become similar zombies. The U.S. government is completely paralyzed, and mankind is facing doom. At a temporary gathering place in upper New York, National Guard Chief Charles Garnett (Tom Everett Scott) and his partner Roberta Warren (Kellita Smith) welcomed unexpected visitors. The visitor’s name was Mark Hammond (Harold Perrineau), who claimed to be a lieutenant of the Delta Force. He asked Garnett and others to help escort a man named Murphy (Keith Allan) to California. Murphy was attacked by eight zombies, but he survived safely because he was injected with antibodies to the ZN1 virus. As the last hope of mankind, the interim government demanded to save Murphy's life at all costs. Hammond was attacked and killed during the journey, and Garnett took on the responsibility of escorting him and embarked on an ill-fated journey with the survivors around him...
