Synopsis of The Strain Season 1

At JFK International Airport under darkness, a flight from Berlin landed silently on the abandoned runway. The strange incident attracted the attention of various departments. Ephraim Goodwinzer (Corey Stoll), chief medical officer for the New York region of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, led his subordinates into the cabin and found that more than 200 passengers were in the cabin. Died mysteriously and unconsciously. Never-before-seen parasites, the suddenly resurrected dead, the mysterious disappearance of a giant coffin, and the vague official rhetoric all cast a strange and dangerous veil on this incident. The warning of the Jewish old man Abraham Setrakian (David Bradley) is vivid, and the successive murders lead Ivo in an unknown direction. Is it an alien invasion? Or is a mysterious virus spreading? Or is it a vampire from ancient legends? The future is confusing...
