Synopsis of honey land

Bright yellow clothes adorn the desolate countryside of Macedonia, complementing the golden color of wild honey and nectar on the cliffs. Cadiz is the last female bee hunter in Europe. She lives with her sick and half-blind mother, relies on wild bees for a living, and adheres to the golden rule of "take half, leave half". A family of nomads suddenly arrived. What broke the peaceful life was not only the noise of seven children and a group of livestock, but also the greed of frantically scooping up all the honey, and the unscrupulous destruction of the ecological environment. It took three years to quietly observe the secluded life of humans and bees coexisting harmoniously. The earth is illuminated by natural sunlight and dim candlelight, which is so beautiful that it makes people awe-inspiring. Winner of the World Documentary Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
