Synopsis of Homeland Season 1

When Carrie (Claire Danes), a CIA anti-terrorism agent, is performing a mission in the Middle East, her lead reveals a shocking secret to her: a captured American soldier has betrayed and is now working for Al Qaeda. Preparing to plan a terrorist attack on American soil. A few months later, the U.S. Marine Corps discovered Sergeant Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) who had been captured for nearly nine years in Afghanistan based on intelligence reports. Brody was treated like a hero when he returned to his hometown. At the same time, Carrie was also transferred back to work in the country by the CIA, and firmly believed that Brody was the soldier who had betrayed, so she secretly launched an investigation. Brody discovers that his wife, Jessica (Morena Baccarin), has fallen in love with a good friend, and he becomes jealous and has a relationship with Carrie. On the one hand, Carrie fell in love with this man, but on the other hand, she was still suspicious of him. Did Brody betray? How will his relationship with Carrie develop?
