Synopsis of Home For The Weekend
Markle's (Lars Eidinger) father Ernst (Ernst Stötzner) and mother Kit (Corinna Harfouch) live in a small city in southern Germany among. Once upon a time, Ernst was a famous publisher who published many popular masterpieces. Now that he has retired, he still has not neglected his career and is still buried in the scrolls all day long. Kit has suffered from depression all year round and has been relying on medication to control it. Ernst is about to go to the Middle East for research, which means that Kit will have no one to look after him. Fortunately, the two also have a son, Jacob (Sebastian Zimmler), who takes on the responsibility of taking care of his mother. Jacob is a dentist, but there are also many problems behind the glamorous surface. One day, when the family was on vacation together, Kit suddenly disappeared.
