Synopsis of Jack Reacher

The film is adapted from the novel "The Perfect Suspect" by Richard Richard, the "King of British Thriller Novels". With six bullets and five dead, the mysterious gunman caused a tragedy in the downtown area and plunged the entire city into panic. All the evidence points to former army sniper James Barr (Joseph Sikora). But he insisted on his innocence and asked to bring in his old acquaintance Jack Richard (Tom Cruise), both of whom served in the army together. As Jack's investigation deepened, he discovered a bigger mystery. The real culprit behind this tragedy seemed to be someone else, and the man behind the scenes with ulterior motives captured Barr, leaving Jack alone to find out the truth. One of the six bullets that missed the target was deliberately discharged by the killer. In order to understand the sniper's work, Jack went to the sniper training camp and found a coach named Samuel Cash (Robert Duvall).
