Synopsis of Police Story

Chen Jiaju (Jackie Chan), a policeman who has been trained as a special police officer, is upright and works hard in handling cases, but often ignores his girlfriend (Maggie Cheung). During a certain siege, Chen Jiaju arrested the big drug lord Zhu Tao, but due to the sudden disappearance of the witness (Zhu Tao's secretary) Salina (Brigitte Lin), he failed to be brought to justice, and Chen Jiaju was demoted. Afterwards, in order to retaliate against Chen Jiaju, Zhu Tao designed to lure him to the villa where Salina was imprisoned, and sent his men to kill a policeman to blame him, leaving Chen Jiaju to flee under the police's notice. Salina, who had a chance to escape, understood Zhu Tao's unscrupulous nature. In order to protect herself, she took the risk and sneaked into Zhu Tao's office to steal evidence. However, she was chased by his men to the mall. Chen Jiaju arrived in time and started a fierce battle with Zhu Tao's men. .
