Synopsis of Project A

At the beginning of the last century, rampant pirates in Hong Kong repeatedly hijacked merchant ships. Considering that the investment confidence of businesses from various countries would be reduced, the status of Jier Hong Kong International Trade Center might not be guaranteed. The authorities reorganized the navy and established a special police team to take charge of maritime security. . Captain Ma Rulong (Jackie Chan) was framed while performing official duties and resigned angrily. Pirate leader Luo Sanpao (Dewey) took the families of officers and soldiers as hostages, and the government decided to use insider Zhou Yongling to mediate. Knowing that Zhou Yongling had colluded with pirates, Ma Rulong volunteered to rescue the hostages. He reorganized the navy and formulated Plan A, hoping to wipe out the pirates by cooperating with his boss Hong Tianci (Yuan Biao) and his good brother Zhuo Yifei (Sammo Hung).
