Synopsis of The Uninvited

When her seriously ill mother dies in a fire, good girl Anna (Emily Browning) is hit hard and even attempts to commit suicide. After a period of mental recovery, Anna was allowed to return to her long-lost home, where she had her writer father Stephen (David Strathairn) and her close sister Alex (Ariel). Arielle Kebbel) and her future stepmother who she doesn't know how to treat - her mother's former nurse Rachel (Elizabeth Banks). During this period, Anna saw the miserable and terrifying figure of her mother one after another, and her friend Matt (Jesse Moss) claimed to have seen everything that happened on the night of the fire. There are various signs that Anna's mother did not die in an accident, and the sisters naturally targeted Rachel as the murderer. Not long after, Matt was killed. Dark clouds once again hung over Anna's family. This poor, almost collapsed girl is at a loss between reality and illusion...
