Synopsis of Over Her Dead Body

The impatient and picky Kate (played by Eva Longoria) and the gentle and easy-going Henry (played by Paul Rudd) are a couple with different personalities, but they complement each other perfectly. After many years of long-distance love, they finally ushered in the day of marriage. However, the happy wedding was permanently postponed due to an accident. Unfortunately, Kate died unexpectedly, which also gave Henry the most painful blow. For the next year, Henry was immersed in grief and unable to extricate himself. His sister Chloe (Lindsay Sloane) was very anxious, so she hired the psychic Ashley (Lake Bell) to help Henry get out of his predicament. The first channeling was not successful, so Chloe secretly handed Kate's diary to Ashley and asked her to pretend to be Kate to persuade her brother. In the process, Ashley and Henry are attracted to each other. What is unexpected is that Kate, who has ascended to heaven, seems unwilling to give up her boyfriend, so she actually returns to earth! Two people and one ghost, what kind of story will happen?
