Synopsis of Max Manus

The film is adapted from the true experience of Max Manus, a famous Norwegian resistance fighter. In the late 1930s, the dark cloud of war enveloped the European continent, and Germany and the Soviet Union encroached on European countries from the east and west. In 1940, Max Manus (played by Aksel Hennie) and many Norwegian youths formed a volunteer army and went to Finland to participate in the "Winter War" to prevent the Soviet Union from occupying Finland. Later, because Germany sent troops to Norway, Manus had to return to Oslo and prepare underground publications to promote the counter-revolution. Nazi claims.
